RABBITS, and other pocket pets (like Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Sugar Gliders, etc.), are a bit more sensitive to Essential Oils because of their sensitive (1) respiratory systems and (2) hindgut fermentation system. Therefore, caution should be used when it comes to Essential Oils and rabbits.
More dilution (a 0.5% dilution or one drop per 10–15 mL carrier oil) is recommended for topical use with rabbits, and water diffusion is preferred.
